三位艺术家Shepard Fairey、Damien Hirst、Invader前所未有联展「Triple Trouble」将于10月10日英国伦敦Newport Street Gallery开始举行！

Newport Street Gallery与HENI联合举办至明年3月29日，由Connor Hirst策划，将展出一系列个人作品以及大胆崭新合作作品，当中好多将首次向公众展示！「展览涵盖绘画、雕塑、装置和马赛克，探索当代艺术、街头文化和流行图像交会。Fairey＋Hirst＋Invader联手创作一系列难以归类混合作品，同时彰显对重复、符号和文化符号共同迷恋。

展览占用Newport Street Gallery全部六个展厅空间，不仅颂扬每位艺术家个性，亦展现实践碰撞时产生协同效应。观者将会看到一些熟悉主题：Fairey『OBEY』图像、Hirst点和柜子、Invader太空马赛克，主题以挑衅而俏皮方式重新组合，挑战纯艺术与街头文化之间界限。」

Shepard Fairey：

「Why would I want to collaborate on an exhibition with Invader and Damien Hirst? I’ve long respected both artists because they are intelligent, conceptual, and relentless in their singular creative visions. “Obsessive” might be too mild a description to convey their drive, focus, and prodigious output. I can relate to them. I also admire risk-takers and troublemakers who can withstand condescending, impolite jabs from supposedly polite society. Those qualities inspired me to collaborate with them even though our aesthetics have no natural overlap or compatibility. A clash of styles in collaboration is a risk worth taking, and creativity can solve almost all problems. Malcolm McLaren once told me, “A glorious failure is better than a boring success.” So, with that as a guiding principle, what could possibly go wrong?」

Damien Hirst：

「What I’ve really enjoyed is the powerful sensibility of both these guys, and it pushes me to think more, down to millimetres and distances between things and colours, and there’s lots and lots and lots of surprises. So I think there’s excitement in the differences and in the similarities. Artists can be notoriously difficult to work with whereas these two are very rare in the art world because they’re great people as well as great artists.」

Invader：

「In addition to being troublemakers of the art world, Damien and Shepard are two art giants whose work I admire. Combining our three styles could only result insome astonishing art works. The creative process itself was very exciting with hundreds of messages, ideas and art works travelling back and forth between the three of us. It was a great adventure and I hope the public will enjoy discovering this exhibition as much as we enjoyed creating it.」
