The Council reserves all final decision rights for the Award.
Employees of the organizer, supporting organization and supporting media, and their immediate family members, members of the judging panel, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Award.
Each participant or team may submit only one entry.
Projects must be completed within 2 years before the deadline for submission of this Award
If a competition entry has previously participated in other innovation and technology competitions and won any awards, it can still be resubmitted, provided that the entry reflects significant revisions or improvements.
Competition entries may simultaneously participate in other local science competitions. However, relevant details must be clearly stated in the declaration form.
Each Participant warrants (i) that his/her contribution is original;(ii) that it does not infringe upon any Intellectual Property Rights of any third party;(iii) that all the elements on which his/her Applications are formed, as well as all pieces of contributions and information communicated in the Application presentation documents are accurate, reliable and complete; and (iv) that the submission of the relevant Deliverables does not constitute an act of unfair competition of any kind under any applicable laws and regulations. If the work causes any legal disputes, participants shall bear full legal responsibility, and the organizer is not responsible for any disputes related to intellectual property rights caused by the entries.
The project must be wholly conceived and completed by the participants/ team members. If the project is assisted by artificial intelligence programs, a note must be added when submitting.
Content generated by Generative AI may include fictional citations or unauthorized references. Participants are responsible for verifying the accuracy and reliability of the information, and the organizer will not be responsible for any copyright and/or legal liabilities related to the content of the participants' entries.
If external support was received during the process, such as assistance or advice from parent(s)/family member(s), external mentor(s)/tutor(s), or others, this must be clearly stated in the registration form.
The project must not violate the law or harm the public interest.
Participants must add a photo of participants with their invention or a photo of doing the research on the first page of the report.
All team members must attend the final review, otherwise, they may be disqualified
All reports and videos will not be returned.
The organizer has the right to share the information of participants and entries with organizations for assisting the matters including but not limited to enrolment, submission of report and video, preliminary review, liaison, arrangement of workshops and final judging, etc. All information will be used solely for purposes related to the Award.
Entries are not allowed to reprint images, photos, etc. that have not been used without the permission of the relevant person or organization. If the entry is found to be infringing, the participant will be disqualified.
Entries must not contain obscenity, foul language, violence, defamation, etc., otherwise the entry will be disqualified.
The Council will reserve the right to publish all entries, including but not limited to their related webpages, Facebook and Instagram pages, publications or other organizations, and does not require the prior consent of the participants.
The judging panel will present awards only if the entries are worthy of praise. The judging panel reserves the right not to present any or all awards.
If the entry, during the event or after winning an award, is found to involve plagiarism or copyright infringement, or any illegal activities after the award is granted, the team’s participation eligibility will be revoked, and all awarded prizes will be reclaimed. Participating teams shall bear full responsibility for any legal liabilities, and the organizer shall not be held liable for any such responsibilities.
Participants agree to participate in the award ceremony and other promotional activities of the award, understand and agree that the photos and short videos taken at the event can be used for future promotion by the organizer.
By submitting the enrolment form, participants agree with all the entry terms.
Participants are required to submit a declaration form and sign it accordingly. If the declaration is violated, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant.
